NDA (National Defence Academy)
The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the country’s premier joint training institution for the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Located in Khadakwasla, Pune, it transforms young cadets into future officers through a blend of academic excellence, military training, and leadership development, discipline, patriotism.
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed 10+2 or are appearing for it, aged between 16.5 to 19.5 years, are eligible to apply for the NDA.
CDS (Combined Defence Services)
The Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam is a prestigious entry route for graduates aspiring to join the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force & OTA as officers. Conducted by UPSC, this exam paves the way for training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA).
Eligibility: Graduates or final-year students, aged 19 to 25 years (depending on the academy), are eligible to apply for the CDS examination.
